TG-TP stands for Torsten Göhring Tooling Partner: a German GmbH for market access, project control and contractual certainty, and a partner plant of around 50 people that builds the moulds.
Why TG-TP exists
German moulders are under cost pressure, the mould market in China is vast and hard to survey, and quality varies considerably. Buy there once and you pay for the lesson: the wrong supplier, unclear specifications, drawn-out correction loops.
TG-TP compresses that learning curve into a single relationship that has held up over years: one plant whose working methods, machinery and engineering we know in detail, and which has built almost exclusively for export customers since 2010. From this closeness comes the product: moulds with German project responsibility at Chinese cost levels.
The company is based in Römhild in Thuringia, a region with a long tool making tradition; the 2025 German Toolmaker of the Year sits an hour away in Eisenach.

The figures on this website come from the partner plant's records or from cited studies. What we cannot substantiate, we do not claim, even if competitors do.
Gates instead of promises
Design approval, tool acceptance, production release: you approve, we deliver the documents to support it. Progress is a report format, not a gut feeling.
One plant, full depth
No supplier pool, no tender rounds across changing plants. Exclusivity is how we control quality: the plant knows our standards, we know its limits.
German contract, German law
TG-TP GmbH, Jena district court (Amtsgericht Jena), HRB 524337. Warranty, ownership and liability sit in a contract your legal counsel can read without a dictionary.
Based in Römhild
Southern Thuringia, between Coburg and Meiningen: from here TG-TP runs projects, receives customers and coordinates the plant. Sampling appointments and mould handovers take place at your site, here or in DongGuan, depending on the project phase.
