Mould Making
Built for production.
From single-cavity moulds to high cavity counts over 1.2 m: A-KITA builds injection moulds in SPI classes 101 to 103, sized for your machine, your cycle time and your tool life.
Delivered finished
TG-TP sells accepted production moulds: designed, built, trialled, measured, documented. No blanks that your toolmaker has to make production-ready first.
German mould shops sell the “qualification of imported moulds” as a service of its own, because cheap imports often need it. Our standard: with us, that line item disappears. That is why every acceptance comes with a dimensional report, process parameters and a first article inspection report (ISIR).
Mould types
Single & multi-cavity
Single cavity to high cavity counts, sized by quantity and cycle time.
Hot & cold runner
Brand systems from Yudo to EWIKON, wired to your machine controls.
Sliders & splits
Undercuts released by mechanical and hydraulic sliders, core pulls with end-position monitoring.
Two-shot & multi-material
Hard-soft combinations, insert moulding for overmoulded metal parts and contacts.
Gas-assist
Gas-assisted injection for thick-walled parts without sink marks, proven in production on vehicle interiors.
Modification & repair
Corrections to existing moulds, duplicate moulds for added capacity, replacement inserts to drawing.
Key specifications
The numbers design engineers look for first. We clarify special cases on your drawing.
Largest milling machine: 1,600 × 1,300 mm travel.
HSC milling and mirror EDM with Ra ≤ 0.1 for visible surfaces.
Production moulds from high-volume runs to mid-size lots.
Reference moulds from design approval to T1.
Multi-component, gas-assisted injection, inserts; thermoset via the partner network.
Spark-eroded textures to VDI 3400, polishing up to high gloss, graining via etching partners.
Steel with mill certificates
Every batch arrives with a mill certificate. Selection follows the tool life, material and surface requirement of your part.
Selection of common grades · others on request
| Material no. | Type | Typical use | Hardness |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.2311 / 1.2312 | Pre-hardened | Mould plates, bases, medium tool life | ~300 HB |
| 1.2343 / 1.2344 | Hot-work steel | Cavities and cores for high tool life, glass-fibre reinforced grades | 48–52 HRC |
| 1.2083 / Stavax | Corrosion-resistant | Visible parts, optics, PVC and flame-retardant materials | 48–52 HRC |
| 1.2379 | Cold-work steel | Cutting and wear inserts | 58–60 HRC |

European standard components, chosen deliberately
Guides, ejectors and mould bases to DME and HASCO standard come from stock in Germany. Your toolmaker finds their way around at once; that is the strongest answer to the spare parts objection.
Brand-name hot runners
YUDO, Mold Masters, Synventive, INCOE, Husky, MASTIP, HRS, EWIKON. Control units compatible with your existing equipment; complete 3D data and 2D drawings are part of the scope of delivery.

Responsibility starts at delivery
Warranty, tool life guarantee and rework are set out in the mould contract with TG-TP GmbH under German law. In a warranty case we organise the repair; coordinating with the plant is our job.
- Tool life guarantee per mould class, in writing in the contract
- Spare parts via European standard components from German stock
- Remanufacturing from archived cavity insert and electrode data
- Mould data sheet, maintenance schedule and spare parts list in the scope of delivery
Your part, our engineering.
Send 3D data and the quantity; you receive a mould concept, a cavity count recommendation and a guide price.
